Gathering of Australian Pilgrims at WYD Madrid

5:30 Mass and CYM 6:30 Holy Hour
Each Wednesday evening, Catholic Youth Ministry hosts a Holy Hour. A night when young adults can come to our chapel in Highgate and spend an hour in prayer and adoration before the Lord. In addition to adoration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is also available.

Wednesdays 6.30pm with Mass beforehand at 5.30pm
Where: Catholic Pastoral Centre Chapel - 40/A Mary Street, Highgate WA 6003
Sunday Sesh 2011
At four times this year there will be a Sunday Sesh held either at north or south of the river. Each Sesh will be hosted by a different parish. The Sesh is to follow a regular Sunday Evening Mass (sometimes it will coincide with a regular youth mass in a parish). The host parish will provide a light supper straight after mass for the young people. After supper everyone is called back into the church for the Sesh to begin...
The Sunday Sesh Venue and Dates are:
Gosnells - 20th March
Mirrabooka - 15th May
Claremont - 17th July
Bateman - 18th September
Each Sunday Sesh is broken down into:
- Welcome & Gathering (Music or Drama)
- Guest Speaker/Presentation
- Testimony
- Discussion Groups & Question Time
- Prayer, Reflection, Meditation
- News & Upcoming Events
- Fellowship & Networking
World Youth Day 2011 Meeting 
In the journey up to World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid Spain, there will be meetings held throughout the year to help pilgrims who will being going to Madrid with the informatrion they need to prepare them selves and the spirutal readiness to better magnify the expereince they have with the holy father in August.
Each Meeting will be held in 2011 on these days:
- January 24th
- February 28th
- March 28th
- April 11th
- May 23rd
- June 27th
- July 25th
Sand Sculpture Competition 2011 
All Youth Leaders have an important responability and role and in recognition to that the Yout Leaders Commssioning Mass i sthere not only to pray for the Leaders and their work for the year but to recognise the importance of their role in Youth ministry and the church.
Youth Ball 2011
Get ready as once more CYM will host another Ball in 2011... this years the youth ball has a new theme. As WYD 2011 approaches its understandable money might get abit rare to have lying around so of seconf hand outfits.... so go and check out your nearest vinnies stores for some great ball clothes you can
Leaders BBQ 2011
All Youth Leaders have an important responability and to recognise the importance of their role in Youth ministry and the church, and to allow them the timke to share and speak to their fellow leaders abiut their ministry work CYM will be hosting a BBQ for them.
